Click below to download Lister JP2M and JP3M manual and parts list. Both apply to marine versions but most engine components are common with industral versions.

Click on lower Download button, then on free download

Have just uploaded a couple more manuals that might be more appropriate to your genset. Lister JP3 15 kVA and Lister JP3 industrial, neither have a parts list though.

Thanks for putting up the files!

That 4-Shared site wants to load all kinds of crap to get the files though...

I have no tolerance for that kind of mis-direction and intrusion.

That's why you need to click on the lower left Download button and then click on FREE DOWNLOAD when next page appears, as suggested above.

Apologies - although I have been using this host for several years the site seems to be playing up at the moment. Will check and advise later.

I do have the pdf files to hand in the meantime if you can suggest alternative means of posting.

That site (or its intrusive spyware) seems to have done some damage here... had to forcibly restart (power off) several times to get their claws out of my system. They started running video advertising in a background process that I could not access and bogged down my computer and internet service. Tricky tricky BS I say!  I'm not certain what exactly is going on because I do have pretty good virus protection in place and I did not knowingly allow their software to add to or change my system even though they made repeated attempts. My computer is also getting to be a little old (5 years) so that could be a part of the problem.

As far as the file hosting goes... there are at least a few dozen sites that have worked for me in the past (without unacceptable ads and spyware). I think that many of them have gone by the wayside though. Sugarsynch was the last one I used extensively. Right now I am using OneDrive.

Sorry to hear about the issues, and apologies again. Have put the three manuals on the shared folder of my Dropbox account. Links to allow online viewing or download (you don't need to register):

Lister JP3 15kVA
Lister JP3 Industrial
Lister JP2/3MGR manual with parts list

None of those issues are your fault... DropBox worked just fine!  :)   Thanks!

Starter ring gears are available from MPS in the UK once you have confirmed which of the two diameter flywheel yours has. Since machining is involved they offer a fitting service, although this may be impractical for you.

Folks- Anybody got any "real world" information about fuel consumption on either a JP2 or JP3?  I looked at the shop manual....and unless my math is WAY off, they're claiming ~ 0.1 pints/hour, given the horsepower listed.  I....just can't believe that.  Looking for some real information.

General rule of thumb on fuel consumption,is 1/10th of a gallon per kw hour, whilst it's likely yours has an Isenthal regulator there are modern electronic avr's that will work instead of,EA05AF,and there's Roper electronics in the Uk,with FWR120-10,but he might be retired by now
