Back from the grave,,
« on: November 26, 2024, 03:07:12 PM »
Well, not exactly. Shop work and life in general has been keeping me waaay too busy. This Bamford is stuck together like it was welded. Took 2 days to get the head off the studs. Water had creeped up the studs from a bad head hasket. Piston stuck, everything else stuck.  This is Bamford #6 this year. 2- 5HP, 2-7HP and a 10 completed and shipped. Manage to work in 10/2 ,a 16/2, and 2 VAs this year also. This is the very first year that I have worked on zero Listeroids but I have shipped a good many parts for owner repairs.

Its so much fun wh things are stuck solid. Had my biggest challenge doin g a McDonald Super Imperial Oil Engine. You name it, it was stuck and stuck fast. But I won.
I too had to work out what Aa Birmingham screwdriver was, all sorted now.
