Dtupid question? How far out should the flywheel be?
« on: December 10, 2024, 05:42:34 AM »
I guess I never really thought about it and have had my flywheels as close in as possible. But as I investigate some rattles and things, I wonder if there is supposed to be a gap between the flywheel and the body. Did I miss this key measurement?
6/1 with 2 tank for WVO.  pushing power into off-grid house battery bank, in winter.

Ty, Gentles

Don't worry, there's no stupid questions, only stupid answers!

take a look at here: https://listerengine.com/smf/index.php?topic=8320.msg106204#msg106204.

Butch aka 38AC says a 1/4" is a good gap from flyboss to main bearing.
