Engine LR2 rebuild
« on: April 02, 2025, 11:21:20 AM »
Hello! I got Rob Roy dumper with Lister LR2 engine. Was hard starting and too much smoky, so made decision to rebuild it. Cylinders and pistons, valves and valve stems will replace, camshaft looks good, crankshaft could be better. I bought of e-bay lister parts catalog and instruction manual LR SR 1-2-3 , but I cannot find any measurements for crankshaft and camshaft  bearings. Is there any other "service manual" for this information. If anyone has, what are standard sizes? Maybe some one can e-mail me to janis(at)cedrus.lv or point me out where I could buy this information? Here is label picture, later will send other pictures.

The std crankshaft journal diameter is 57.11 - 57.10 mm.
With a minimum worn diameter of 57.02 mm.
The std crankpin diameter is 53.97 - 53.96 mm.
With a  minimum worn diameter of 53.86 mm.
I would have posted the pages from the technical handbook, but for some reason the site does not allow me to post any attachments.

Thank you very much, this information is very useful for me, as everything is put to halt. Here attached pictures as promised and, if possible, send me e-mail janis(at)cedrus.lv .
