Where is VP?
« on: September 18, 2024, 08:37:53 AM »
I have noticed that VP has not been on the forum for some time now.  I sincerely hope that he is just on holiday and not having health issues again.  Maybe Bob has some news?

Gentles

A thread of my self? You are bad boys.

Im alive and kicking! And yes nothing post lately. Plenty of work up in village.

The motorcycle is wanting - but already scared me about prices for paint job and chrome polishing. Lets see...

Keep tuned

Cheers

Ahh, you're back. Good to hear all is well and it was just life that has kept you away.  Have you been harvesting olives again?  Looking forward to your write ups

Yes, very glad you are well and keeping busy with life. Nothing now is cheap as it use to be, paint pricess here in Australia are crazy and I will soon need to buy some as Im turning a pile of rust back into being a box trailer. At least my welding skills are improving. Mind youy they could not get ny worse.
Never looked at getting some chrome done  but it too is something that you need to be siting down hen a price is suggested.
If you are harvesting your olives then this year should give  bigger return than ever. Olive oil here price wise has also gone up by about 400%. We always use it to cook but now its a luxury and a lesser amount is used. The shops claim a worldwide shortage of olives. IOf this is true then you will be able to ire tradesman to do the restoration and get the best quality of everything done.

Gentles

Last mounth of jun had put half of olives down ground. Rain fell out of its time and trees let fall a good amont.

Olives are mature 1 mounth ahead of harvesting and the forecast rain will ruin the remains.
