There is not much info out there on this engine from my searching so far..  I am interested in finding out the rpm and hp. Strange how they did not stamp that on your engine plate..

At first I thought it is direct drive, so to get 50HZ in england it would turn at 1500 rpm provided it was a 4 pole gen head.

However this is not an AC type head. As far as I know and from what I have read on this thread.
It is DC so the engine may turn 600 rpm but the generator would put out 120v DC..  So speeding it up will increase the volt output I imagine.

Inquiring minds want more info on this setup..  It is an interesting setup.. Please let us know when you find more info on your new toy. Thanks.

Maybe a PM to ajaffa1 (Bob) on this forum would yield some more info..  He is a pretty good generator guru from what I have read from him on this forum. Just a thought.

The gen went 220vdc with the governor not set up
Pulled the governor down and got it at 125vdc
Running at around 600rpm for that
More testing this weekend.

Got it outside ran it a few times hooked up the water and forgot to put a drain in the water tank we got control voltage around 125 whenever I want it when the governor linkage isn't falling apart so that's about it for this summer I don't think I'm going to bring it to Cool spring it's just too much work right now and I'm beat. Over the winter I'll pull the Gen end and redo it completely and then next year I'll bring it to the June show. I'm still going to come out for this year/ next week. But I'm not bringing anything I'm just going to come and check it out. Be good for me to figure out what the hell's going on anyways without the personal distraction. Enjoy!

I really want to Finish this Project Before Displaying It. A lot of Nickel Plating. A correct size Tank. Possibly The Radiator and Water Pump!! No water leaking from the cover studs(I didn't seal them:music) and the Gen end and a slate panel for the electrical Works. A fuel Tank and some other things.
But I am happy with my Progress and am looking forward to Displaying It when Finished!
Of Course the questions will continue and I will post it all on this thread.
Thanks to everyone for helping me get this far!! Pretty Cool!!
