1925 Lister 2T and Generator

Bent Trigger:
Hi, I have a Lister 2T with a Generator. I saw a listing on the SmokStak last year and it was still up after a few weeks so I called and made an appt to look at it. When I walked in I was floored by the size! I was looking for a little diesel engine. So after making a deal and waiting thru the winter and multiple other issues I was finally able to get a trailer and a good friend to move it. It was up in Ticonderoga and about 4 hours each way and I figured 2hrs to move it to the trailer. Got it done on the first weekend of June 2023. I started to take a bunch of pics and get it located in the rear yard at the shop. I started to take it apart as it would not roll over. When removing the 2nd cylinder it toppled and broke a piston. What a fool working by hand with a 60lb cylinder when I have all manner of lifting equipment. Oh Well!! So the search was on for a piston. With the cylinders and pistons off the machine rolled over. I called the Cattail Foundry out in Pennsylvania and they said the could cast me new pistons. I wanted two so when machined they would be as close to identical as possible. I also emailed Rob at Old Timer Engines in Australia because he had 5.5" rings in stock. I bought a set of 8 anticipating new pistons right around the corner. Well 6 months later I am getting antsy and asking the guys on the Stak about Diesel pistons and how to get some to work. Justin/Famous Fitter asked if I had asked Rob if he had any pistons I was like, I'll email him right meow !! Well it's Christmas time and he was on Holiday so the wait. He emailed me on the 2nd of this new yr and said he had a couple of newer style flat top pistons and would dig them out for pics. I was like Newer Style? I need some from 1925!!So I went to the shop and took some pics of the good original piston, ring placement, wrist pin size and others and sent Rob a link with them. The Next am I got this pic! I was sooooooo Happy!! We made a deal and they are on the way to New Jersey now!! More to follow! Chris

In case you were wondering this story was also published in the Stationary Engine Magazine in I think August and will be added to as things develop. Here's a set of links for most of the pics I have. Enjoy Chris

I think so, it has 4 big coils and 2 smaller coils. I cleaned all the brushes up and they move freely in their holders and she spins so just need to figure the voltage to get her to spin with the commutator. All suggestions are welcome.

Bent Trigger:
I'm looking for parts for this ML CK2 magnetos lead out and plug connector. Any leads are welcome.
