Glad you found them. Interesting Lister. Looks like the Lister CS has a lot in common with it.

How was the shipping from down under? I am down in Virginia and Rob has a couple of parts I am interested in.

Hi Bronco, These were a lot because they weigh 11kg
But the exchange rate is not bad and Rob is a steller seller!!
Good luck and link you Lister thread so I can check it out.
I broke a piston on disassembly and am paying the piper so to speak.
I have never ran it so It will be interesting to see if I can get it to auto start with gen end excitement. I will start a new thread once I get the pistons and regale you all with my screwing around!!

Here is a link to my build thread. Sadly I haven't had much time the last couple of years to get back to it. Hoping to remedy that soon. Welcome aboard and looking forward to your other thread.

Interesting because I have a twin L myself, same spec and that part is not the same. Wondering how the oil is drained? You are in luck,, I think? Pictured are the same elbow from a very early 10/2 I own and also a 16/2 Listeroid. I do believe that either would work perfectly in place of your original. I didn't check this out to the inth degree because I didn't want to remove them to check. The CS engines are descendents of the model L and share a sone parts. first pic in my TL notice oil drain plugs, next is my 10/2, last is the Listeroid twin. Any of the CS/Listeroid parts would be easier to find than twin L parts.

Thanks for the pics and info AC.
Mine has a check ball in it to keep the oil in the pipe.
And it looks original with no way to drain the oil.
I have feelers out around the world so we will see if one pops up.
I am going to clean this one up again and have my certified welder try to weld it.
Otherwise I will take a cooling plug and drill and tap npt then cut the threads off this and tap to npt. and put a cl nip-tee-cl nip to add a drain and retain the check ball feature.
THEN I can add an oil filter. What a PIA!!
Thanks Again for the info!!

I do not have a TL parts book but I'd bet the TL and early CS twins share the same part number. The drain plugs were such a small modification that Lister appearantly didn't see fit to change the spec which is also unusual. The CS engines also have a check ball retained by the adapter fitting. The TL oiling system, pump, lines and function is identical to the CS twin
