Made in Australia Lister SR2

Hello. New member here from Oz. I have just purchased a 10hp SR2 diesel that has a Made in Australia badge. I have done a fair bit of research and can not find where or when it was made. Can anyone please enlighten me? Thanks in advance.

Interesting query Lawrie. I have aquired a SR1 lister fitted to a road roller that also has a "made in australia" inscription on it. I cant find anything on the net re Lister in Australia either, yet there must be thousands of listers in Australia running gen sets, shearing stands etc. I believe my machine is dated around the seventies era. Anyone else in Aust.own an Australian manufacted lister engine?
