Mixing old and new tech

Good day all
Well I'm sorting through and correcting a few things with my new-to-me ST3/Kohler 12RMO61 (not sure if that is a zero or an "o").
The Emico ammeters and output are destroyed, the DC ammeter is fogged unreadable, and the off/auto/test switch looks to be corroded a bit.
Rather than try to restore these components, and to integrate better remote alarming/controls, I stumbled across this Chinese-made digital control console on eBay
https://www.ebay.com/itm/172944962087?hash=item284452b227:g:2yoAAOSwi8xZ72zx&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAoIj5Az3%2FO%2FHixjpsp9KDukZ%2F4b03dQkgHgCvyDali372YdEzKVJoEBRktEIkxZzDCKBLQ1osSKA10jnfTZ5ZffkUyc1bm%2BUkN1VxpsrDZ%2FZr7SZf83n7FynD2wlqxSOifSczdOISexsKMScRrdz5wp74rv3irbllZDrVxr26c2mgHjiFU7MDefE7igmdvWC3Fqy6BPRXp2yGRDyLnn9nnVA%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR_aCqveOYQ
There are several sellers with the same/similar units as well as one without utility power monitoring (search "DC60D gen controller).
Has anybody seen these or better, installed one?
What else would be a good option without ridiculous cost associated with it?
Thanks in advance!
