lister D type cam shaft

Hi Folks.
Is there anyone out there who has a camshaft without any damage to the cam lobes or am I asking the impossible  :D

My Lister D came with no pushrods so I bought a pair. They are of different lengths and I don't know which is inlet or exhaust,can anyone let me know which is which.

The short rod is for the exhaust side.  That's the side with the bypass.
