That tag does not agree with the later Lister Petter I.D. system so far as I can tell. Is it a military surplus unit? if so it likely has a special numbering sequence. Shown is how the laterr engines were tagged and as you can tell it is of no use for your engine other than the model number.

Tag stamping seems erroneous... Please post overall engine picture. We know all Lister types and can help identify.
