Fuel Leak off SR2
« on: March 21, 2021, 11:00:52 AM »
I threaded the nut that connects the leak off pipe to its Injector. Need a new leak off pipe assembly. There's one at half the price but the outlet is stern side instead of bow. The assembly output is connected to a 'T' that sends a feed back to the tank and also to the filter outlet. Is the filter outlet feed necessary. If not I can get the stern side one and couple the tank return which is easy as it's flexible hose and blank off the coupling to the filter outlet which would involve more work.

My SR2 doesn't have a return to the filter, only one going back to the tank and is working perfectly, so I guess it would be fine to blank yours off.  At the worst, if you have problems, you can always make a connection again.

That connection back to filter only serves to help bleed off air in the event of fuel tank run completely empty and a bunch of air getting into filter. It can be helpful at times, but not necessary.
