Lister SR2 start-o-matic with 6kva Brush Head

Hi

I have one of the above.   Unfortunately it has been separated from its start-o-matic box which is lost.  Can I use a Deep Sea Controller to operate the decompression and fuel rack solenoids, spin the engine and then stop spinning it when it detects power being generated.  If so, which one would you recommend?  Any advice on wiring it up would be a great help as, at the moment, all I have is a load of severed cables.
