Lister ST2 Genset Engine - Rebuild
« on: July 11, 2020, 01:23:32 AM »
Hi all,

Just signed up to the forum, I was a Landrover man for many years and have more than my fair share of diesel in my blood.

I recently bought myself a little project to keep busy in the shed

No: 2777ST230-06

Was originally running a generator and is set at 1500 RPM, it was then modified to run a water pump of sorts. Had an issue with the air filter housing letting water in; so has pitted liners and other water damage. Hopefully will get away with pistons, liners, rings and a new set of bearings.

This will be my first Lister, looking forward to it. Will post up some pics as it progresses

Regards

JDiesel

Hi Ade

No, he did it on purpose for nobody to realize what engine is.

Cheers
