My dodgy spill timing
« on: May 21, 2020, 02:13:18 PM »
Hi. So I marked tdc on the flywheel (6.1) and then pulled the injector and used an old line to fire it at the flywheel. It fires about 2" after tdc, ie the injector mark is nearer 11 o clock than 12, 12 being tdc. Shouldn't it be about 3" the other side of tdc though? Maybe this is why it is almost impossible to start, despite having a recon injector and seemingly enough compression? Thanks!

I'll have a look on the pc but on here that thread is even more confusing than the manual!
