Hi All
I've got a 2 gallon fire extinguisher mounted sideways, with a BSA oil tank filler (the neck was cut out of a scrap tank) in brazed the side - which is now the top! - and a 3/8" BSP socket for the valve beneath it.
I kept the fitting for the fire extinguisher and blanked it off for use as a port for inspection / cleaning.
I've done a neat job and it doesn't look too out of place.
I have an old 'Atco' lawnmower tank, (a horizontal cylindrical one, which looks quite period) with the intention that when the Lister goes into service I'll mount it some where handy on the top of the engine and fit a double banjo to the injector pump. The main tank will run the veg oil, with an easy change over to dino diesel at the end of each run, to aid starting, particularly in the colder months.
Cheers
Stef
