Posting images is a perennial pain in the proverbial on any forum... please check they're not too big - 4mb limit per file, IIRC - and there's not too many of them - max 6.
I'd highly recommend resizing them down to 800x600 or 1027x768 or similar resolution; that makes everyone's life a load easier. By which I mean my life
To answer your button question - if one side is connected to ground [water?] then it's
almost certainly a cut-off switch; i.e. the solenoid is powered up when running, pressing the button bypasses it for as long as you hold it down. Changed my mind... it's probably
energising a solenoid; i.e. the other side of the button goes to a solenoid, and the other side of the solenoid is +12/+24v. If the solenoid was powered all the time, it'd shut down on the key, and you'd not be able to hand-crank it to start if the battery was flat. I'm assuming it's a remote start...
