Over size piston rings?
« on: January 10, 2020, 06:17:12 PM »
I'm wondering if I should bore the cylinder of an 8/1 that I am overhauling  and if so how much?  Are oversize rings available??  Any info would be greatly appreciated.  --- Thanks

For a Dursley, oversized pistons & rings are available and the cylinder can be rebored. Here's a source:

For a listeroid, it might be better to replace the sleeve and use standard size piston and rings.

Why take chances on questionable quality Indian sourced items, when you can have a genuine UK manufactured item?
