Pulley for alternator
« on: June 17, 2019, 05:02:46 AM »
I'm after a B section, 2 groove pulley in cast iron or steel.
The PCD is 7 inches, or overall diameter about 7 1/2 inches.

Please call 0403 221 884, or message here.
I'm in Australia.

Thanks,
Jordan

Hi Jordan, try Power Transmission Parts in Sydney, here is a link to their website: https://www.ptparts.com.au/

Thanks Bob,
I saw that, and would be up for $100 for the pulley, Taper-Loc bush & postage.
I may have to buy it next week, if nothing comes up cheaper.

Looking at my box of miscellaneous pulleys, I must be rich!

Hi Jordan, I`m pretty sure they do free postage on orders over $50.

These might be a little less expensive:

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SPB-B-section-V-Belt-Pulley-w-taper-lock-suit-Any-standard-Bore-size-1-2-groove/233027040831?hash=item36417e763f:m:mnaeeHAqBLKIJ72A7jzd2wg

Price includes Taper-Loc bush, and delivery cost is stated.

I'll likely get one of these, but have feelers out for a used one.
I better go look for a four leaf clover.

Thanks, I just assumed bearing suppliers would be the highest priced option.
It looks like they are about the same, so I'll check.

I'll keep you all posted Bob, though I'm proceeding at a glacial pace.
