Hallo Guy,

thank you for you hint with prestonservices but they thought it might be better to take the offer from the net and not to answer any emails from a kraut anymore.

But I found some german listeroid sellers.

Best regards
Lars

i saw some changfa replicas working on petrol. Logically speaking slow speed on petrol or gas aint worth its burns much faster than diesel..

I think there might be a market for someone to make a Listeroid diesel -> petrol/gas conversion kit.

New head, carb from a lawn mower engine, electronic ignition system.

If you carved the bowl in a DI engine out to make a dish would this make a decent SI engine?

If you ran it at 11 or 12 to 1 could this be a good NG/ethonol/propane engine?

I think 13:1 is best for natural gas.

Here is an optical ignition system that should work.

GuyFawkesm,
i notice in your profile you are Lister D megasquirt multifuel project,

what is that, the reason i ask is i am interested in dual fueling a Lister s-o-m on diesel and methane, do you have any experience, or would that come under multifuel ?

Megasquirt is a self build and programming electronic ECU for auto fuel injection DIY'ers. Really intended for petrol engines though and the Lister D is petrol. Not sure if it would have relevance to Diesel engines.
