Lister Generator set pictures

I posted some new pics in the coppermine.  It is nice to see this project coming to a close....well at least one phase of it.

Original Lister D, megasquirt multifuel project, compressor and truck alternator.
Current status - project / standby, Fuel, good old pump diesel.

Bugger me, I've just noticed something else

all the bloody rings are above the gudgeon pin....



no wonder the tops of the pistons are scored from torque reaction

yes its another 3/1 with the 4 studs, but see the piston, rings properly placed

Thank you Darren for the complements.  This is an origional English Lister.  Not an Indian clone.  I do not have experience with the indian engines to draw a comparison.

Another considerstion of the frame design was to place the crankshaft centerline at 27 inches up off the floor.  That is the height recommended in the Lister installation manual for easy cranking and servicing.
