Jabsco water pump
« on: November 01, 2017, 06:52:10 PM »
Hi I've got an sr3 with a Jabsco water pump fitted.  The pump has recently started leaking from where the flange is bolted to the engine block.  Is the pump knackered and can it be repaired?  I hope so because a replacement is over £280.

Your help would be appreciated.

In a boat ?

Jabsco pumps are easy to rebuild with kits readily available.

The ceramic seal is usually what will leak.

I would be willing to bet you could find a utube video on how to do it.

Only pain with them is stripping the cooler to remove all the bits of broken impeller after it breaks up. >:(
