The forum has been super quiet lately.  Nothing happening out there?

Well,

There's plenty going on up here in the Pyrenees, but due to my lack of cash I've been out earning it and resisting the lure of the Lister Investment Programme!

Next up for me is a crude power meter and dummy load so I can start to finr tune the money pit, sorry, Lister!!

Cheers Stef

Ah, at least I'm not all alone out here.  I miss my daily forum fix.  Stef, I know what you mean about the cash pit.  If only I had the bucks to do 10% of the projects I'd like to experiment with, I'd be content.  My old saying "when I've got the money I have no time and when I have the time, no money"

Busy building lots of L/P DitchWitch engines in our shop and I'm mostly out enjoying the weather on a new motorcycle here...

Just looked at the promo pics on the Indian site, nice.

Does it handle as well as they say?

I've got (amongst other stuff), a 650, A65 BSA in the shed, I keep saying I'm going to use it as the base for a bobber, for my 65th birthday, time's running out fast!

Do it while you still can... we are not getting any younger!
Yes, for as heavy and cumbersome as these big bikes can get, the Chieftain is rock solid on the highway and handles like a dream. It is a bit of a challenge in the parking lot and just moving it around the garage. I am getting a bit of a workout from that and from picking her up when tipped. 850+ lbs is a handful for an old guy like me. Hard to wipe a grin off when out cruising - and passing everything in sight! 120 ft. lbs. of torque and smooth as glass!
