D310 Valve guides

Can I ask the forum if any members have had experience fitting the D310 type of valve guide used after engine No 94120. These are the only type on sale from the Stationary engine parts web site and they say the cylinder head might have to be machined in some way, but don`t say what exactly has to be done.
