AVR and voltage setting
« on: November 28, 2015, 03:13:41 PM »
My new 7.5 st head came from Tom with the AVR installed
and the voltage set at 220.
I want to set it for 120 volts.  Can I just move the "U" connections
and reset for 120 volts or do I have to change anything on the AVR ?

I hope this question makes sense,

Those AVRs usually are set to sense only one leg i.e. 120vac.
If yours is wired differently, then I would ask Tom for clarification on what was done. He is always very helpful in providing good instructions for his stuff.

I think Tom at cgg also sells a 240v avr, so you'd best check with him on your particular model.  He provides very good support.
