I didn't change the head clearance, the same shims are under the cylinder, and the new head gasket is the same type and brand copper 2 sides asbestos lister type...so I doubt the bump clearance has changed.  But I asked Satyajeet Industries for the specs for the engine, hopefully they will respond, it should be checked.

Just got off the phone with my engine  buddy....he said my compression is better than good, he listened for leaks.  And is more concerned with the spray pattern from the new injector. It sprays like 2 feet into a nice fine mist, he says however it shouldn't shoot that far, there's something wrong there, and is the cause of poor firing and burning.
I'm going out this afternoon to double check timing and try another injector head.

Got her running.  Timing was most of the issue.
Thanks for all the assistance, guys.

Yep, that timing thing can be a real pain.

A twin provides twice as much fun !

Just did a 4th 15 minute run, she starts on first try now and cranks along nicely.
These governors are about worthless though aren't they?

The governor will probibly require some tweaking as well.
A search here should provide a good starting point.

Free movement and a correct spring selection will bring most of them in line.

Glad you got that thing going !
