See that little brass plate underneath the compression changeover valve. That indicates that the cylinder barrel has at some time been back to Listers for a re-bore and chrome plating to an oversize.

All I see in the back ground is the bumper of a pu and the hdy cyl of an engine lift. Thomas

Looks like a 1940's engine. No elbow on the CC breather.
