made it back from Portland with several hundred pounds of mud in the truck. Rained for 3 days but meet up with Butch(38 ac) and had a wonderful time playing in the mud. did not buy an engine but found a very nice anvil. Just what I need. Another anvil... Looking forward to next year. Next show and swap meet in in Denton N.C on July the 4 th.  all ready loading the trailer.sid

I didnt take any pictures this year, not even one of Sid. Darned miserable weather. Only saw one Lister engine and that was a D that had been used as a parts donor but was still $$$ Id bet the guy took it back home.

I did haul a Lister home but I had purchased it earlier and was simply delivered to Portland. A very early model L balltop also known as the Canadian hopper type. Was built in the 3-4th year Lister built and sold their own engines 1913. We now have three versions of the L including a TL.  The L became the basis for the 3 and 5HP CS engines.

Sid, It is necessary to use a picture hosting site such as the listerenginegallery.com  or Google or one of 100s of others of your choice. There is typically no charge for these kinds of services.

Publish your pictures there and then just use this site's tools to point to those pictures. Cut and paste the URL.

There are some pretty good instructions listed around here somewhere for this process.

Wow, that is a great looking antique you found there Butch! I bet that was well worth the trip! Maybe it is up to us to bring out the old Listers for these shows. I have found it near impossible to get away from my business, but maybe I will retire soon and can play full-time. Here's to dreaming anyway!

Gary,  The CS type Listers don't last very long before they find new homes but we always have at least one Lister engine on the trailer when we go showing. The spring day at Portland is mainly a swap day, the big show is in August and there you will always run across at least a couple Lister engines at that event.

The Model L in the picture runs like a swiss watch, what a nice engine they are!
