bryce pump woes
« on: December 13, 2013, 09:36:30 PM »
Hi all,

i have a Bryce Berger fuel pump on a Petter PJW, i had to remove it and re tap the bleed screw threads, my manual says the rack should have a calibration mark on it, mine doesn't, so where do i measure the setting from ?

when i put the linkage back i need to measure 20.6 mm from the pump body to this mark.

I have seen the Bryce pump cross-shafts both with and without the alignment mark. I do not have the specifics for the PJW but I would think there would be another pump around somewhere to use as a guide.
It is generally only the multi-cylinder engines where the marks become critical for proper adjustments though.
