Good fuel filter deal

Just a heads up for any of you with original Listers,  Petters or the various 'oids that have  the A600 type fuel filter. You might want to check out this auction on Ebay. Last one of these elements  I bought at NAPA was $15. They also have the complete original (not indian) filter heads for $20 on another auction. In spite of what the ad says they will ship but you have to send them an email after the auction to get a total and pay with a VISA. Kinda tedious but things went smoothly for me.

Does this filter cartridge  go inside the stock filter replacing thre sock looking filter?

This one fits inside the very small AC filter bowl, not the most commonly seen on old CS stuff. More common on Petter and mid 60's thru 80's air-cooled models. Price is right! This filter is very small and only useful for particulate trapping in tandem with a good water-trap or agglomerator style filter designed to separate and trap any water.

Usually found on very late Lister CS 8-1 and 16-2 engines, as the AC filter housing this fits into would have been considerably cheaper to buy than the manufacturing costs for the Lister cast Iron filter housing and wick type filter element.
