The auction report/
This was the fellow who was mentioned here more than once over the years as the Amish Metro dealer, Reuben Stoltzfus. Beside what was in the sale bill there was two engines not advertised. A 6HP Metro listeroid in nice shape and a water cooled twin Metro Petteroid in unknown cond. Also lots of Indian parts like pulleys, fuel tanks, water pumps etc.
The 16/2 Lister did not sell. It was bid back in by the owner, when I noticed who i was bidding against I stopped and nobody else bid. It wasn't the cherry it was advertised to be, I am glad it wasnt the main reason for my travelling there.. I think that the Indian engines were all bought by people who post here thus I wont post what they paid. I will just say they all sold reasonably. I bought what I went to buy which was the 4.5HP Bamford engines. I bought both for just over scrap price. They are both projects having sat for a long time and stuck.
The Bammfords, the 16/2 in the background and the blue object half in the picture is the twin Petteroid.
