Needed: valves for Metro 6/1
« on: August 25, 2013, 12:08:27 AM »
Hello all, i am setting my engine up as a generator but just ran into a catastrophic setback. I had a hose connected to the intake pipe which came loose and fell to the ground; i think it sucked in a rock and bent the intake valve at the very least. It didnt make a loud noise or anything but just shut off suddenly. So i need some valves to replace these. Im just praying the aluminum piston wasnt damaged. This is a direct injection model; are the valves the same length as idi? Thanks.

We handle the IDI versions, and could readily compare notes if you were to measure your DI valves.

I didn't think to measure the valve lengths cause they turned out to be OK. Just had some debris on the seat holding the intake valve open. Thanks for your help.
