Yep...you sure can !
Most of the 195's were Indirect Injection (IDI) heads which is well suited to alternate fuels.

Things to remember:

1] Filter and de-water the waste veggie oil (WVO)
2] Starting and warm-up should be done with diesel or biodiesel.
3] Heat the WVO to 180f or higher on the way to the injector
(Some say that the injector will warm the oil adequately but my preference is to heat the whole injector line with a wire heat trace)
4] Switch back to diesel or biodiesel for a few minutes before shutting down

The 195 is an excellent workhorse and is renown for it's reliability.
Nice find !

Well just got home with new toy and very pleasantly  surprised it has what looks like a high quality gen head Mecc alte is on the data plate
Made in Italy  brushless . I haven't had time to research  it yet but looks real good!  Round trip was  about 360 miles but  at 300 dollars the price was  right. I told my wife the things I do for you to keep your lights on. It's all about  you! It's a good thing she knows I'm full of it.
