temp sensor switch
« on: June 10, 2013, 12:17:04 PM »
I know this has been posted but I cannot find it, sorry. I am building up a 6/1 5KW set and customer wants radiator cooling with electric fan so I need a switch that senses the engine temp to run the fan but it needs to be good for 110V AC. Cant find one at my usual sources.

Thanks in advance.

Not going to be any 12V on the unit. Thanks for the suggestion.

Got a rather nice adjustable capilliary one sitting in front of me, made in Italy by IMIT so may be available in the states,0-120deg C type tr2 9325. Contact 1 I think is make on temp fall rated 16(6)A 250v,contact 2 make on temp rise 6(4)A 250V.What are you using for a rad fan ?,I found that the motor and fan from a dismembered 9" cheap desk fan bolts straight into the fan bracket on a Nissan Micra rad, blades needed a bit of trimming.
