As injection pumps are VERY hard to locate, and it is a non runner, it may be there longer than you think.

I agree.

This looks like an early unit to me.  If I had a 12 HP Witte and needed a parts back-up machine I would have bought this one yesterday.  The base has got to be worth a few bucks just by it's self.  Most have an oil reservoir built in which I think could be used for fuel is your engine isn't equipped for an external sump.
