Looks like it has chrome plating on some of the pipework, for extra wow factor.

Also note how similar the heat exchanger tank looks to be very much like a fuel tank on some of the later single cylinder LD, SL, and LR engines.

Looks like its the cooling systems header tank connected without a heat exchanger to allow a circulation of coolant  to permit short runs.
