Some of the COV assemblies are a two-piece affair. Apparently quite a number of variations exist!

I run a 16/1  there is no change over valve or plug. I have started the engin in 3 degrees F.  I use a propain torch moving rapidly over the intake and high pressure line. Just enough to warm  not hot and the engin starts 1st time  every time.

Bob,

I would bet your 16/1 is direct injection... is this correct?
