Here is a couple of glancing shots of the base. There are 4 Volvo transmission mounts, one on each corner. There is a sub frame and a engine frame with the mounts in between. You need to get the engine balanced a bit better before you bolt it to a resilient mount. If you are going to have permanent generator shed I would still rely on concrete. The pounding to the center of earth can be reduced considerably. I used clay and a felt pen to find the heavy area and then put the clay opposite the mark inside the rim. Problem is the motor can't be bolted to the concrete to do this. There are others who found some other good sources for the mounts and have also perfected a way to tame these beast. You might try "balance" or "resilient" in a search. This was a heavily discussed subject a few years back.
