I am interested in purchasing a lister clone and figured that if other people are interested we could go together and purchase together and split the container / import charge. I run numerous web businesses that are listed below besides selling on ebay. On ebay we have over 1,000 sales with only 1 upset customer. I have talked with a few customers and we figured we would put this out to see if others would be interested. We figured with purchasing in bulk that we could save money and all purchase less expensive than you could if purchasing from here in the states. I have talked to our broker and to Anand Ent. as for the import information we would need. The last time we talked was when the gentleman had all the clones on this blog for sale. I listed the company information below and their price list. I think that if we purchase in bulk we can probably do even better on pricing.  If you are interested please contact me either here or through our web sites.

Look before you all start busting my balls on this, how about write and tell me why we can't do this or give us information that would help us. I import from various countries and kind of know the ropes. I know that you hear that the EPA won't let these engines be imported any more, but I still see people still importing them so there must be a way. Anand gave me a couple of names of people that imported in the year 2012 from their company. Let me know what you all think.

Individuals may get by with importing 1 or 2 depending on the whim of officials at the ports. There are no longer any EPA exemptions. Full containers and business entities are subject to some very harsh penalties (as well as forfeiture of goods) if found to be out of bounds with EPA regulation. Beware of excessive costs for multiple Homeland Security inspections, (our last one ran up $2800 extra cost), and of course all the usual unknowns and surprise charges that generally arise when lots of people and companies become involved handling your goods. If your container does come through without a snare from EPA, the costs are almost never contained nor even fully predictable. All this kind of thing has almost doubled our pricing in the past few years. We sell as low as we possibly can to support the hobby here but not allow our finances to go into the red.

never mind , I am sure in next future WE will be "inspected" by the european "light-bulb" GESTAPO ..... :-)   , because from september on the trading with  "normal" light bulbs is prohibited ......    greetings from the green-red-eco-stalinist- faschists in Brussels...........

Hopefully no real penalty for importing a Listeroid, just a risk of it not being allowed in. Enforcement is most likely very sketchy and inconsistent. The EPA penalties are severe for a business to either advertise or sell any such product though. Times are changing for America, our liberties have been under attack - some of it justifiable, some may have more sinister underpinnings. Change is difficult, but inevitable... how we choose to deal with it, that we can do something about. There is a good reason I choose to live in Alaska, a bit off the beaten path.

Just let folks know that you are in Canada Jim... still some import hurdles to jump for USA buyers, but significantly less than imports from off the continent.

Easy way : most of the the east germans IGNORED politics and politicians ; we made our BBQ with cancer making charcoal , washed our cars in garden , puzzled around with self build environment killing tractors and gensets ..........
