Too many generators ???
« on: June 27, 2012, 01:19:28 AM »
Fess up guys how many generators do you have. I've got an old Dayton 14 amp,two military 2 cyl about 13 amp, four cyl. military 110/220 single and three phase on a trailer and my favorite ST-1 lister and st-10 gen.The small ones are 3600 screamers the four cyl mil.goes through gas like grass through a goose. The lister is for long term outages. One listeroid 6/1-5KW ST head and one Changchi with a 10KW brushless ST head.  Wouldn't mind having another 6/1-ST5 to run the set in parallel:)
PS 6/1 - ST-5.

complete or incomplete?

ready to run or in progress?

last count, 5 or 6 that make power, enough parts to make maybe that many more

and that doesn't count DC generators, last count i have maybe 50 alternators, ranging in size from 160amps to 320amps.

basic answer, too damn many!

Same as Ronmar, but my Changchi has a Markon head and the fan is missing the blades so it can only be used short term until the head heats up. Then I also have a Miller Roughneck welder/generator that needs the Kohler engine rebuilt. I'm off-grid too and really should have more generators.
