Injector pump manual
« on: June 14, 2012, 05:40:06 PM »
Does anyone know where I can download a manual for a 6/1 injector pump. My origional pump started leaking out the bottom, so I'm now running my spare. I've got the rebuild parts, but don't want to have it spring apart and then try to figure how to get the parts back together.

Thanks!!! It looks like "special #24 Fig 11" is needed. Can an alternative tool be used that may be found in a DIY workshop???

Gitterdone, how did you get around the need for special tool #24?

Also noticing item 3 in the trouble shooting section about heavy carbon deposits. I guess this is why the original Listers had the pawl on the rack to limit full throttle.

you should not need that tool unless your pump is leaking so bad that your getting fuel into the crankcase.
in that case i would buy a new pump. i guess you could replace the pump plunger and sleeve.
sorry it took so long to get back  my computer locked up.
i use laquer thinner to clean the gue that veggie oil makes when in contacting with air.
