HA end float question.........

Iv'e got 3 thou end float with no shim on the bearing housing, should i leave it or fit a 5 thou shim ?

end float needs to be 5- 10 thou, shims are 5 or 10 thou.

I would add that shim for 8 thou.

Thanks for your help, my supplier came up with a 3 thou shim so it solved all my problems.
