Yanmar TS130 parts source required
« on: July 19, 2011, 08:02:23 AM »
Hi,  I'm new to this forum, I shouldn't really make my first post a begging one, but will anyway !

I recently bought a 6.5kva Yanmar diesel generator set, It had seized the piston, and was supplied in parts

Its actually in reasonably good condition, Ive ordered a new piston and head gasket, but missing from the big kitset is the exhaust rocker and the rocker support the guys I'm getting the piston from have no listing for these parts, does anyone have any ideas where I can get these from?

The engine model is yanmar TS130, I'm guessing the rocker stuff is probably common with other TS and TF

Cheers
Mike

if you can give me the engine serial number i can probably get you the parts. be it new original Yanmar, clone made in Thailand or used part salvaged from donor engine.

ok...Yowling 2 stroke. thats new old stuff for me.

this is my resurrected TS 105 with a Yanmar 3 TN70 as counter weight on the 3 wheels trolley. unlike the chang chong chin from China, the Yanmar has no balancing shafts and hence no gear train noise.

i have a high pressure pump awaiting to be coupled this weekend to the TS105.

I have only seen pictures of a Scott, from what I have read they were way ahead of their time.

Hello
I have a TS130 which came along with a boat I bought, it's driving a genset.
The engine is ok but before I bought the boat the starter motor was sent off for repairs and pronounced unrepairable and binned.
The owner was subsequently unable to get a replacement.  Hand start is possible but very cramped access and I'd like to get a SM back on the motor.

Apparently it is a belt drive starter. I was wondering if anyone has a parts drawing or a photograph so I have something to go on.   Looking at the setup the starter motor becomes a generator once it's started.

I was given a link to an apparent Chinese copy but only for mass wholesale   http://cfnrj.en.alibaba.com/  I don't know if anyone carries their spares.
