Technical Article Index
« on: December 13, 2005, 05:18:07 AM »
Here is a technical article index from oldengine.org:
 http://www.oldengine.org/members/allen/techindex.html

It has quite a few lister related articles as well as a rebuilding guide with torque specs. Engine manuals in PDF format.

Check it out a lot of good reading.

Hi All,

I stumbled on this. It's Cool; Animations of Diesel and spark engines running.
http://succ.shirazu.ac.ir/~motor/engin/anim.htm
Under "Engine", hit "Diesel".
(Turn on the speakers on your terminal for the "Diesel".)
Under "Engine", hit "The Engine".
Two cylinder guys, look at the inline four model.
There might be an intuitive message regarding the 180deg. vs. 360deg crank questions.

Here are the lister 5/1 and 10/2 basic spec manual courtsey of old engine.

Oldengine.org is a collection of personal websites that are hosted by Jim Dunmyer.

All the sites and the information contained therein are the property of the respective owners, and while nobody would object to your posting a weblink to those sites, it is not considered to be good netiquette to post the images themselves out of their original site.

The data sheets in question were put there for the information of all, but the arrangement by which they were obtained and displayed on the original website did not include them being sprayed around the web.

A little more courtesy would be appreciated before you do this sort of thing again.

I also maintain the Oldengine.org site on behalf of Jim Dunmyer.

Thanks,
