I am looking to buy a lister ( I will probably buy a kit) and send it to a pro to be modified, framed, fitted with a pmg gen head, muffled, ready to run on veg oil, and electric start.  Anyone? anyone?

It would probably help vendors if they knew where you lived.... which would also give you an idea of the shipping cost. Also, what size engine? Single? Twin?
Cheers!
Ade.

Rick,

We will have CS clone parts kits available again soon if you are interested in building a genset... either 8/1 or 16/2 are the best choices for this application. Bear in mind that you (and perhaps the builder) will have to accept responsibility for any EPA emissions compliance issues.

deeiche,

Original Lister manufactured kits are available in to form of core engines plus the parts kits to build them. We have a few of the CS variety coming over from England in the spring. Of course pricing will be at least 2 or 3 times the cost of an Indian clone. The remainder are more modern varieties including some water cooled units but the vast majority are 1800 rpm air-cooled. We have several hundred available in stock. I can quote pricing for you once I know what you want to specify.

Maddog,

Our Indian CS kits are estimated same as before - $1990 for the singles, $3250 for the twins.
