Cylinder Block Replacement
« on: February 03, 2011, 06:28:57 PM »
Wanted 2 cylinder heads for 20/2 CS Lister engine.  I looked around and want to pay $100.00 for the pair. Don't need the liners just the bare heads. Will pay with paypal.

"bare" when discribing a head usualy means the casting with the guides, seats and core plugs installed but nothing else. Could you explain what you mean by "without liners"?

Post says "heads" but subject line says "cylinder block". Cylinder block sans liner makes more sense....

Yes,
you are correct...I need just the block not the head; without the cylinder liner.  I had some freeze damage and sustained some cracking in the water ways. I know someone has (possibly) a junk one around somewhere they want to part out. This is more or less a way on the back burner hobby of mine and that is how I come to let it freeze up.

Maybe worth looking at a complete Indian engine just to obtain the parts required?
