The fuel filter is part of the engine block and is really deep ideal for heating the veg oil and the crap could settle to the bottom where their is a drain.
The injector is kept nice and hot along with the pump and fuel lines, all under covers snug next to the engine block.

Almost as if it was designed for the purpose of preheating more viscous fuels then

Hence no additional complications of electrical heating elements, insulating fuel lines and filters, or wrapping fuel lines round the exhaust pipe.

The FR really is the engineers engine, perhaps not the prettiest engine to look at, but an engine that was designed from the outset to be top quality in every respect.
