delima solved
« on: December 23, 2010, 10:50:18 PM »
I appreciate all the input about accepting an engine as a gift from my old friend,,,,,after much discussion with him I accepted a 1 1/2 hp hit and miss Satley engine,1924, not the best runner but the reason I picked that one is the history can be traced back to the woman that purchased it in 1924 to pump water for her chickens...so I will be the 3 rd owner. I am going to get a sign or plaque made to go with the engine so the history will stay with the engine..it is unusual to be able to trace the history back that far and for him to meet the orignal owner.. we both ended the day happy//sid

Dang, pretty soon you'll need to go to a triple column layout on your sig line. Congrats on the new acquisition.
