Maybe you'd have room in the Royal Museum once you return all the pilfered treasures of the world to where they belong.

Hail Britannia!

 ::)

There's an old English expression, which I think was translated from the original Latin, which is apposite in this case.

It reads as follows: "Finders keepers, losers weepers" followed by something that looks a lot like "Ner, ner, ner ner ner"  ???

 ;D
Cheers!

Just to throw my £0.02 in; I don't mind how many CS's head West (or East for that matter); every CS that leaves these shores make mine a little bit more valuable :) Plus, as I'm finding out, there's literally thousands of them left, scattered about the place. Which makes their current eBay price range (300-1000 or more) even more difficult to understand.
Cheers!

Just to throw my £0.02 in;

My $.02 was in US currency which means it was only worth about 1/2 of yours. ;D

I hope that my post didnt give the appearance of being a blanket to cover all Brits, It wasnt intended that way. There are also people here that get all burred up when a $200,000.00 1915 prairie tractor sees a shipping container bound for Europe.

Personaly, I could gve a rat, let the bidding begin.

It's one of my buttons.

As a mostly Irish decedent that privileged endowed malarkey runs pretty thin every once in while.  When I hear it here in Hawaii I always want to remark "The next time I ship out of Schofield Barracks would someone remind me that I'll still be a second class citizen when I return?"

The Royal Museum is a gorgeous place with the real stuff just like we say in our text books.  Sometimes it's the very same stuff.  As it is "Over There" I see the hoarding reflex mostly as a joke and just can't help myself.  (I brought back three minis in 75 and still have one.  I'd be buried in it but I just respect him too much.)  And they're being bought up at this time and shipped back to the UK and on over to Japan.  RHD just makes sense!

Back to the coolest diesel engines in the world and how we're going to get them here.  ;D

I'm trying to get an Andoria S-320 from Poland to England so it can get in the container from England.

It is soooo much fun dealing with someone via Google Translate   :D

We have about 2/3 of the stuff consolidated for some time now but having a real problem identifying the stuff still at Blackpool and do not have any knowledge nor access to the people in charge there (have never been informed of those details). Perhaps we can call on Ade Vickers once again to help with this issue?

This is the email I have for the lot in Blackpool where my engine was.

keithjbutcher@gmail.com

He is either the owner of the lot or incharge there, can't remember.

Thanks! I will contact Keith and see what needs to be done to get things rolling again. Just too darn busy here to stay on top of everything anymore.

I'm still silly busy with work, but I'll see what I can do - drop me a PM or an e-Mail with what you need finding out, and I'll do my best.

I still have my truck, although it needs welding back together to get through a roadworthiness test, then it'll need tax & insurance.... fun & games... and cost of course.
Cheers!

Ade, If you know Keith or others in the know about that storage facility and any arrangements that were in place, please let us know details so we can get any issues handled and those engines moved to Mark's for loading.

Your help much appreciated!  ;D

I don't know Keith, but I do have a phone number for him somewhere. I'll try giving him a call to ensure the engines are still OK at his place.

Assuming they are still there, I'd recommend either hiring Mark to pick 'em up, or use someone like Pallet Line to shift them. I was going to keep my truck but I got an offer on it I can't refuse so, assuming the money comes through, it's gone again.
Cheers!
